Our 2015 river cruise of Holland and Belgium during tulip season was suggested by our
daughter Heather Anne, using the CroisiEurope cruise line, which she and hubby John
have travelled with before, but which was new to us. She ordered the cruise through
CroisiEurope UK, and we used Vacations-to-Go in the USA. We also bought trip cancellation
insurance through Vacations-to-Go.|
We left Toronto by Air Canada Monday evening April 20, arriving at London Heathrow Tuesday morning April 21 for a four day visit to see Heather Anne and John's newly renovated house in Farncombe, southwest of London, England.
From there we travelled Saturday April 25 to Amsterdam via the EuroStar train through the Chunnel to Brussels, thence to Amsterdam by intercity train.
We boarded the CroisiEurope river boat MS Beethoven in Amsterdam Saturday afternoon April 25, and travelled by boat through Holland and Belgium for the next week, returning to leave the boat in Amsterdam Saturday morning May 2. We then spent Saturday and Sunday in Amsterdam, returning to Farncombe by train Monday, May 4 and by Air Canada London to Toronto May 5.
