Our brief July road trip began 3 July 2017 (after the Canada 150 ceremonies 1 July at the local Aga Khan park) took us north to Wasaga Beach via Lisle and Camp Borden, then to Owen Sound where we stayed overnight. From Owen Sound we went to Walkerton to check out the Belfry gravestone, then to Kincardine and down the Lake Huron coast to Sarnia, for another overnight stay.|
From Sarnia we went via Chatham to Windsor, to stay a couple of nights with Dorothy, with whom Marg went to school in Uxbridge and Normal School in Toronto many decades ago.
After our stay in Windsor we headed toward Toronto along highway 3 through fruit, vegetable and wine country, stopping overnight in London Friday night. Saturday morning we looked up Neil (Rusty), with whom Bill went to RMC, and both flew Sabres in Europe during the Cold War. We attended Neil's wedding to Elsa in Midland after the European tour. After our visit with Neil we headed along hwy 401 to our home in Toronto.
