2014 Mega Milestone Party

The Mega Milestone event was the brainchild of our daughter, Heather-Anne, who lives in England, with some help from her brother, Brian and his wife Janet, who live in Toronto. The objective was to celebrate milestone birthdays in 2014 of six of Heather-Anne's family members: Mother-in-law Rena: 90 Father Bill: 80 Brother Brian: 50 Daughter Raya: 30 Niece Miranda: 18 Nephew Benedict: 16 In fact this was just an excuse for a party, since everyone present has a birthday this year, except those born on 29 February. The event took place the afternoon of Saturday, 4 October 2014 in the foyer of Jubilee United Church in Don Mills, where Marg and Bill have been going since the fall of 2012 after completing their immigration from Montreal. Special thanks to Sybil Leacock for the many photos she took and sent to us to include on this page, and to Christopher Cameron for keeping the refreshments coming and nicely presented. A welcome sheet allowed folks to sign in and comment, if desired. Tables and chairs, and the open look of the Jubilee foyer make for a very pleasant atmosphere. The buffet table was set up and maintained by Christopher, a resident of Marg and Bill's apartment building. Marg had prepared a collage of life photos of the birthday folks.
